AMBULANCE MEDITRANS spol. s r.o. was founded in 1991 as one of the first non-state medical rescue and medical transport services in the Czech Republic with its headquarters in Prague 4. It currently provides its services on the territory of the Czech and Slovak Republics, where a subsidiary company SOS MEDITRANS SLOVAKIA operates.
AMBULANCE MEDITRANS spol. s r.o. has not only top technical equipment, a team of well-prepared professionals from the ranks of doctors, nurses, paramedics and ambulance drivers, but above all applied know-how and experience from the implementation of thousands of interventions since 1991. The organizational and technical management of a number of simultaneous requests for the organization of medical transport, including repatriations from different parts of the world are a matter of course for us. High expertise of doctors, nurses and crews of ambulances or special air ambulances, together with maximum flexibility and reliability are the basic attributes of our work. They are also the reason why AMBULANCE MEDITRANS has become a partner not only of all domestic health insurance companies, but also of many renowned commercial insurance companies, European assistance companies and automotoclubs.
In 2001, the facility was the first in its specialization in the Czech Republic to be certified for the implementation of a quality management system according to ISO 9001:2000 and subsequently according to ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 9001:2015.
